1971 Lotus Elan Coupe Description:

This is a NO RESERVE auction for 1971 Lotus Elan plus 2. Burgundy with a black interior. 88,000 miles on the odometer. The body is good, but the paint is faded and bubbling in many places. Frame is in very good condition.

The interior looks good but the driver's side wall carpet and the rea backrests and parcel shelf have cracks. Good glass all the way around. Front windshield molding needs to be replaced. The bumper is painted silver color.

The car runs and drives, the clutch is soft, needs a slave cylinder replacement, I been told by the previous owner.

The car comes with clean and clear transferable New York registration, in New York State there are no titles for 1971 and older cars.

An excellent original car needing cosmetics.
