1972 Lotus Europa Twin Cam Description:

·1972Lotus Europa Twin Cam, built in August 1972 and was exported for the Canadian market in September 1972. Said to be example 90 of 100 Federal-spec Europa Twin Cam models finished in Regency Red, this example features an Oatmeal vinyl interior and is equipped with a 1,558cc twin-cam four and a 4-speed manual transaxle. The current owner acquired the car two years ago but has since passed away, and it is now being offered by the selling dealer on the family's behalf with an extra set of wheels, manuals, sales records beginning in 1976, a Certificate of Provenance, and a clean Illinois title.

The finish is in good condition apart from a mark on the leading edge of the driver's door and minor crazing around the T emblem on the rear deck lid.

Steel wheels with chrome Lotus covers and Vredestein tires, and a set of alloy wheels fitted with Sumitomo rubber are included in the sale and are pictured.

The Oatmeal vinyl interior appears well-kept and remains unmodified. Some light cracks are noted in the wood veneer fascia, and Smiths gauges are retained in the dash. 27,207 miles are shown on the odometer, with less than 1k miles added during the last two years

Upgraded stainless steel door hinges, an aluminum radiator and upgraded water pump were previously added, Service records from 2014 document a valve job and head resurfacing in August 2014 as well as minor electrical sorting, including new window switches.

All sales are subject to a documentary fee of $172.15, Illinois residents will have to pay IL sales tax, and residents of other states need to check with their state's DMV.

The buyer is responsible for all shipping and transportation costs. Our cars are inspected and safety checked by certified technicians.

All cars are sold "As Is" unless stated otherwise. An extended service contract is available on some vehicles.
