1947 Lincoln Convertible

1947 Lincoln Continental Description:

Here is my 47 Lincoln Convertible with the original V12 motor. I don't think this car is a Continental, I think its just a Lincoln Convertible. This is a project car with all the parts. I bought this as a project however I am not sure its the project for me and my small shop and will tie the shop up for quite some time as I thought I would see if someone else is more interested in this than me. Almost a rust free car that has been stored inside all its life. There is a bit of rust and a few small holes in the right front fender and a bit in the bottom of the car. The floors are real solid and the frame is perfect also. The motor is on a motor stand and the line bore has been checked and seems to be perfect. There are 8 valves, 11 valve guides, and 7 valve springs missing. The valves that are with it are new and also the valve seats are installed and new. It looks like the block has been cleaned and ready to start to put back together. There are some new parts with it like the gasket set, 16 valves and 4 new tires. All the glass is good and with it.
