lincoln continental convertible
1967 Lincoln Continental Description:
This 1967 Lincoln Continental convertible is not only iconic & elegant, but it is the last of it's kind--the final model year in which Lincoln offered a convertible. For '67, the Continental was,in fact, the only four-door convertible built in America. The car was a pretty big deal--and bigdeal, we mean really big; 126"wheelbase, nearly 18.5' long for bumper to bumper, over 6.5'wide, and weighing a whopping 5,712 pounds. Its roomy interior features folding arms restsin the front & rear, leather upholstery, and electric clock, & it is equipped with air conditioning & power steering, brakes, & windows. While the Continental's most recognizable attribute is its forward-opening (suicide) rear doors, the car also features a fully automatic convertible top that disappears into the rear deck lid. All it needs is a little touch-up paint. I have invested in this car about 50k in today's economy. My lost is your gain. A total of 2,276 were built. This will go fast!
