Meet our 1969 Land Rover 88 Series IIA, a stunning blend of history and performance. In 2020, a comprehensive restoration was performed before the vehicle was imported into the United States from Great Britain.
The original chassis underwent chemical rust treatment and was painted with durable enamel. A new galvanized bulkhead strengthens the structure. The engine was rebuilt with new components including a fuel pump, water pump, distributor, belts, clutch, and clutch hydraulics. Additionally, a new stainless-steel exhaust was fitted. All engine parts, steering, heater, and other accessories were refurbished and finished with period correct enamel.
The running gear was overhauled with rebuilt axles and gearboxes, new parabolic springs, new shock absorbers, and new steering arms. The braking system was entirely replaced with new brake lines, cylinders, master cylinders, drums, and shoes.

The interior was upgraded with new Exmoor Trim seats and trims, while the dashboard, instruments, and lights were refurbished. New canvas, poles, and tilt were installed with the soft top.
