DESCRIPTION and HISTORY

This is a genuine, rare 110 that was first built as a Land Rover demonstration Vehicle. It has full working order 4X4 and was manufactured in 1992 with a factory fitted 300 TDI engine. Only a few were built at the time to demonstrate the new production of the updated engine in the Defender model, this comes with a Heritage certificate to validate. It was sold 2 years later by Land Rover to its first owner in 1994 with under 3000 miles on the clock when the 300 TDI was officially put into production.

This comes with. Clean FL title in hand and is registered in Florida.

It was purchased by the second previous owner who was the founder of a well known UK based Land Rover build and restoration company in 2012. This has the original sale receipt dated to prove. it was used as a private vehicle until recently when it was purchased and has now been exported to Florida.

It has undergone a full body restoration 6 months ago, frame treated and waxed, suspension, steering and brake overhaul including a new respray in black and a full recent engine rebuild.

It has upgraded central locking, alarm immobilizer and works from a key fob, of which there are 2.

This comes with full previous MOT documents - these are UK government genuine yearly certificates, making sure the vehicle is roadworthy and the mileage is authentic.

Lots of receipts documenting various refurbishments and yearly Land Rover service that has been recorded with stamps in a logged service book.

The buyer will get a clean US title along with proof of exportation clearance documents and DMV VIN clearance documents. There is also the clean UK title present.

ENGINE

This engine is mechanically excellent. The 300 TDI turbo diesel inline-four pushes power to all four wheels through a five-speed manual R380 gearbox and a two-speed transfer case. The engine hasbeen stripped down and rebuilt by the previous Land Rover specialist at 131,344 miles. It has done under 7000 miles since the rebuild that’s documented. All fluid hanged have been carried out in preparation for the sale.

ENGINE BAY

The engine bay is clean and tidy with no leaks from the engine and no rust or previous welding repairs under the bulkhead. The original VIN is in tact and the heater is working fine. It has a plastic water tank and great working intercooler situated next to the radiator. It is clean and all working fine.

MOVING PARTS

Most of the moving parts have been replaced including shock absorbers and rubber seals, the CV joints and all boots. Upgraded fuel pump, lift, exhaust system, both prop shafts have been replaced and a complete overhaul of the front and rear brakes with new seals, along with steering.

BODYWORK

The body of the Vehicle has been taken off the chassis and resprayed 6 months ago by the previous Land Rover Specialist.

It has been finished in Panther black and has been fitted with a custom Overlander cage and roof rack finished in matt black along with NAS rear bumper and the front bumper and bars.

The bonnet has been wrapped in Matt black and new defender badges throughout. To the front are automatic LED halo lights a working winch and replacements of the grill and light surrounds.

To the side are under guard steps that come out matching the cage and Gas storage cans on the side.Both doors have been replaced.

CHASIS

The chassis is in amazing condition and shows no rust or any holes. It really is exceptional to be this clean. It has recently been professionally weather treated and wax oiled.

INTERRIOR

The interior is clean and has half leather half cloth front seats.It has a a custom cream dash and a center console with a touch screen CD, DVD and navigation system with under mounted dash.

• Since the pictures i have had the touch screen dash re done due to not being happy with the finish and it now has some buttons installed toward the top for the rear wiper, lights and 2 USB chargers. The rear bench seats have also been changed to a black material to match the frontas they were not matching. The front part can also be handed back to black also.

The headliner has been recovered front and back to a high standardwith a nice material.

WHEELS

The wheels are in great condition and are finished in black with 5 very good chunky tires .

This drives brilliantly, starts no trouble and steers with no play. Breaking is spot on also. This is a great example and a very good looking Defender 110.

This has passed a full UK MOT last month and has been passed by the UK government as completely roadworthy.
