1990 Land Rover Defender 110 LHD 200TDI Diesel Description:

Up for sale is a 1990 Land Rover Defender 110 200 TDI Left hand drive five door station wagon. I bought this truck a little over two years ago as an ex United Nations vehicle. I had the interior refurbished and repainted in it’s same color “British desert sand.” The truck has 141,700 miles on it and runs very well. The 200 TDI is in perfect working order, does not smoke (other than on cranking and hard acceleration, which is normal) and does not burn oil. The LT77 gearbox is tight as well as the rest of the drive train. The chassis is original and is in fairly good condition for its age. The rear cross-member has been re-welded at some point in the past. I have been driving it all summer and it is now time to sell it and start on my next project, a 1960 Land Rover SII fire truck. Top speed is around 70-75 MPH. I haven't tried to go faster, its a large box trying to move lots of air. It does cruise nice at 60-65 MPH with one hand on the wheel. I will continue to drive so the mileage will go up, but my commute is only around 10 miles. Thus, I don’t put lots of miles on it. If you want to come and check the Rover out in person you can drive or fly to the Greenwood SC Airport KGRD, which is where I work. This truck is ready to drive and it has not left me stranded once.
