Up for sale is a RARE, beautiful, and clean LHD 1971 late Series IIA 88" Land Rover 4 Cylinder Diesel with overdrive.

Few remain in this shape and condition.This is a left hand drive version which are getting really hard to come by these days and especially the diesel version with overdrive and safari top.The vehicle runs well (cold start video available upon request).

Hard top and glass all in good shape.Has carpet and removable seats with locker bays down below the cushions built into the Rover itself A very neat feature of the series.This is a 4x4 in low range and high range.

This isn't a show room Rover, but this is a clean one and it drives well. It’s a very beautiful Series IIA and will look great in anyone’s collection or garage.

Clean Tennessee title. The doors, glass and top are very easy to remove and in good shape.

It has been repainted from its original color to Land Rover green from desert tan.I will provide cold start video in interested upon request as well as any appointment to come and view the vehicle or any mechanic of your choice to come here to inspect the Rover for your piece of mind.

Recent improvements include:

Clutch slave cylinder replace

Engine head rebuild with head gasket replace

Brake lines and cylinders replace

Transfer case resealed

Radiator flush and hoses replace

Existing cosmetic and mechanical issues include a rear passenger tail brake light intermittently works (driver’s side rear and turn signals work consistently), scratches, dings and paint chips from regular use, and some rust particularly associated with bolts.

Shipping of this vehicle is not included.Most of the time it comes to your home. If you live in a hard to reach area for a 18 wheeler he will ask to meet close by.
