1972 Defender 110 - 109 with rebuilt fuel injected V8!

1972 Land Rover Defender Description:

Unique build here with a 110 chassis with 109 body. All work preformed by a Master Land Rover Technician. Ready to drive anywhere!
Started with an original 110 RHD chassis that previously have rear cross member and outriggers professionally replaced. It was a rolling chassis with original axles, brakes, steering etc.
We disassembled the motor and replaced the cam shaft and lifters withCrower 50229 camshaft and Crower lifters. We also added fuel injected. Motor starts right up immediately on the first turn and settles into a nice idle.
Exhaust replaced with all newMagnaflow stainless steelcatalytic converters Y pipe. Exhaust completed withMagnaflow center muffler standard exhaust tubing. Looks and sounds great with a nice but muted rumble.
We replaced the original gas take with a new a 110 gas tank with new correct fuel pump for the fuel injection.
We retained some of the body parts of the 100 Defender including the bulkhead, hood, grill, front trim, seat box and transmission tunnel. The lower front doors are new and the rear is original from the 109.
Truck sanded and sprayed in Land Rover Arles Blue with white roof.
Front seats recovered with authentic Exmoor black trim kits. Middle row seats are the original 109 seats. No rear cargo area seating.
Brand new, custom head liner installed. Looks awesome!
Brand new, less than 10 miles BFG All Terrain tires including spare installed.
The body has a few dings here and there as any 109 would (and should!). Driver foot wells cut out and replaced. Some surface rust underneath but no rust or rot on frame, bulkhead, rear cross member etc. Truck is very solid both mechanically and structurally. Middle row doors have 1-2 small blemishes about the size of a quarter. However, all the doors, windows etc operate as they should without issue.
This truck has a very unique, one of kind look and runs amazingly! The motor is like new and we have a video of it driving from 40 to 72 mph in 3rd gear! Acceleration is smooth and steady.
