The Series IIA is widely regarded as the most enduring Series model constructed, both in terms of its offroad, adventure and ruggedness and the perception the public has of the Land Rover marque in general.
The IIA retains its original tried, true and battle tested (in some cases literally) 2 ¼ Litre Petrol 4 cylinder engine, which was fully sorted 3 yers ago.
The 4-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly through each of the gears and is assisted by a fully functional low and high range 4X4 unit. The engine sounds like the first day, idles consistently and pulls strongly and smoothly. Compression is excellent and ride quality is everything you’d expect of a fully sorted Series IIA.
Aesthetically the truck is truly outstanding. The interior is impeccable, the dash is clean and straight forward . The Black Vinyl interior is in excellent shape, no wear / tear.
