1990 Land Rover Range Rover Description:

Hi,
Thanks for looking at the very reluctant sale of our Range Rover Classic.
We are relocating to the UK so I am open to any sensible offer.
We can also assist you with any parts you require when we return to our business supplying Range Rover parts in June 2018.
The Good
Clean ownership title in my name and current California SMOG certificate.Vehicle Registration paid until the end of July 2018.Lifted coil suspension by 3 inches so already good for off roading.Low mileage 111,429 at the time of typing the advert.Engine timing done.Transmission and engine run well.Sealed beam headlights have been replaced with brighter halogen units so you can now change a bulb.New BF Goodrich Rugged trail spare tyre with matching alloy included with the sale.Heater and fan work great.Brakes are very good.Parking brake holds well.Centre silencer of muffler replaced for straight through pipe, nice V8 sound.Has rear leather seats and seat belts (need bolting back in as we used the vehicle as an occasional weekend camper.Original Land Rover tyre jack supplied.Cooling system doesn't leak.Both differentials have had the oil changed.Prop shafts greased.One shot grease in the front swivel balls.Borg Warner Transfer case oil changed.No warning lights on the dash.New tailgate struts and one new tailgate lock latch.Female Tow bar installed if you want to use a tow hook.Abs light goes off as it should after around 5mph.Original owners manual and leather holder included.Chassis is solid, California vehicle so in excellent condition underneath.I've always used the most expensive gasoline and not used the vehicle off road.
The not so good,
The brake fluid reservoir seals are leaking slightly.The Boge self leveling unit underneath I believe needs a bush replacing as its knocking, or just remove the unit?No working stereo (the wiring is there to fit one)It needs a drivers side door mirror.Interior Plastic holder which holds the sliding drivers door catch needs replacing and the door card refitting.Sunroof opens completely but doesn't close completely, so was taped up for the winter.No load cover or spare wheel cover.Rear tires need replacing (1 new one supplied as above)AC system in place but I've never used it. No belt on the pump.Front seats could do with covers or reconditioning.Someone scraped the drivers side door and did not stop. (see pictures / not recorded)
I believe the buyer can now go either way with this Classic. Put some work into it and have a nice vehicle to keep and use as a classic vehicle, or use it as an off roader.
