This is a completely original Landrover Defender 110 county station wagon. It has been owned by a large country estate and is only being sold as they have bought a newer model to replace it. This can be exported to the USA as it has the original frame, the vin numbers all match and it is over the 25 year threshold. I am more than happy for overseas buyers and I can even help with the shipping process as I have done it before with one of these. I can help with getting the truck to the UK docks also. It is fitted with the ultra reliable 200tdi engine and it is mated to the lt77 5 speed manual transmission. It has covered 170,000 miles and starts first turn of the key every time. It is on sale with no reserve.
For a 26 year old Land Rover it is actually in very good straight condition. The paintwork is in good order and has a very good shine to it indeed. The sides are nice and straight as you can see from the images. The front wings are ultra straight ans there are no marks at all. Yes there is an odd touch in here and there but it is a 26 year old Defender at the end of the day. The truck has very good virtually new Terrain tyres fitted on modular wheels. There is a good heavy duty tow bar fitted. The whole thing is nice and solid as the images demonstarte. The interior is again in decent condition. It is not immaculate but is very presentable indeed. There has been a centre console but could be removed to make back to a 12 seater. It currently seats 11 the way it is set up. The dash and door cards are all in decent condition. The roof lining has an odd light mark but nothing major. The heaters all work as does the blower etc. All the windows wind down as they ought to. This is a genuine factory county station wagon and as such has all the genuine roof linings and trim pieces around the windows.
The 200tdi engine fires up instantly fron warm or cold and runs superbly well indeed. It revs freely and there are no nasty noises from the motor at all. The engine provides plenty of power and gets down the road well. The gearbox is excellent and all gears shift very well both up and down the gearbox. There are no nasty transmission noises whatsoever. The clutch is also very good and has loads of life left in it. The brakes are good and bring it to a stop in a good safe distance. The truck benefits from power assisted steering and this all works as it ought to. The 4wd system all works as it ought to and the low 4x4 all selects and works fine and it is more than capable off road.
