1984 Land Rover Defender Description:

1984 Right hand drive Land Rover 90. VIN number is SALLDVAC7AA217240 (Ebay does not recognize these VIN numbers).Actual mileage is unknown as the original engine has been changed to a BMW diesel engine
(524td). However, consistent with a unrestored, 33 year old vehicle, the LR will require a lot of TLC and mechanical work. It is very cool project car but cannot be driven adequately as is. Known issues- interior electrical, rear wiper not connected, door and window seals, wheels have wheel locks which the prior owner could not find, one of rear turn light does not work, rear door hinge needs work. Engine starts but produces black/blue smoke andruns poorly- it will need a complete overhaul. Clutch likely needs work also.
It is titled and Registered in Arizona.
Note that you are getting a pretty good deal asI paid$16100 for it in 2016.
