1976 Lancia Scorpion Description:

This is a 3 owner known history from new.car.that i did about an $18000 full mechanical and cosmetic restoration in order to compete in a 1000 mile TSD race that i had received a DNF in my 32 Cadillac a couple of years before. Ive been a collector/restorer of vintage sports and exotic cars.for over 40 years and can assure you nothing was left untouched mechanically for reliabilitys sake. Ive been buying cars unseen for years from across the country and will be happy to provide an honest answer to any questions and am willing to discuss in detail by phone the restoration. The car was.finished the year the GREAT RACE was sold to Hemmings Motor News and they cancled the regional Texas version of the race so not only did the car.not run the race.the only miles put on the car was 1000 road test miles prior to painting so the car has basically sat around ever since. The motor is 100% stock (again reliability). The only modification was.the installition of a sport exhaust which was installed when the car was new and does a wonderful job of mimicing the sound of my Ferrari. The Panasports & Falkien tires.only have about 250 miles.on them.I just spent an additional $4k on another new paint job and full tune-up.The car is.ready.to just.turn the key and go.Included with the sale are some misc spares, 4 original wheels, spare tire carrierOwners manuals, all restoration receipts, magizines, ads, factory photos etc. Terms.are.a.$1000 immediate deposit at auction end and the balance due.
