1971 Jeep Jeepster Commando Hurst Edition Same owner since 1988 Real Deal 1 of only 100 built and one of only 10 or 20 built with manual transmission. This is #18, one of the rarest Jeeps produced and is very correct. Original order tag on firewall with 432 paint code and 354 trim code these were glued to the firewall and many Jeeps are missing them. Original correct cowl data firewall VIN plate, Hurst Emblems, Hurst t-handle, stripes, hubcaps etc… The engine turns over freely and will start a...nd run with gas squirted in the carburetor. The carburetor linkage is frozen and it will need to be rebuilt. Original Hurst 18 mark is on the firewall above the battery tray. Miles showing are 66,897 which are believed to be actual miles on the 1988 title are 64779. This is a very good basis for a restoration.
