1983 Jeep CJ Renegade Description:

Daily driver quality 1983 Jeep CJ7 up for a no reserve auction. Ebay is getting crazy on the fees. $40 bucks for a reserve..... Lets just go no reserve and sell it. I need at least $4000 out of this Jeep to come close to breaking even. Everything works on this Jeep. Bid with confidence on this Jeep. It does what a Jeep is supposed to do. All gauges work, lights work, 4-wheel drive works as it should with new superwinch manual hubs and new pinion bearing installed 2 weeks ago, new front rotors, bearings and pads. Engine runs good, does not smoke or rattle and fires the 1st time everytime. It is the "iron duke" 4-cylinder engine and is pretty good on gas and has plenty of power for a Jeep. This Jeep would be a great candidate for a small block chevy engine swap because it will bolt right up to the bell housing thats already in the Jeep. The Jeep has several new parts that include original type front seats, bikini top, battery, alternator, belt, clutch cylinder, steering wheel cover, front hubs, brakes, front pinion bearings, seals and complete service with all fluids checked and topped off as needed. The Jeep has a complete soft top and doors that goes with it also with all the framework (see pics). The soft doors can be used as half doors also. I have all reciepts for parts/labor over the past month that total over $1100 that will be included. This is a very solid Jeep with a perfect rust free frame and a tub that will rank a solid 9 out of 10. Floorpans are solid with only 2 or 3 places on the drivers side(see pics) with any rust. fenders are good and rustfree. Previous owner put the black diamond plate on it and painted the chrome Jeep wheels black because he said he liked the look of the blacked out stuff. This Jeep is a driver quality Jeep as i, but would be an easy one to restore because it is so solid. You can literally drive this one home. 117,082 original miles on the Jeep, but they will go up. I drive it a couple times a week. The engine looks to have had a valve cover gasket put on it recently, other than that it is stock and runs good. It has an aftermarket ignition switch. Previous owner stated the original ignition switch went bad and he had a new switch, so he just used it. It works fine, but its not the original ignition switch. The CJ series Jeeps are getting hard to find, especially one thats not rusted to pieces or cut up. This is a mostly original Jeep. Please feel free to ask questions. I check my email daily.
