1989 Jeep Wagoneer Grand Wagoneer Description:

Available is my 1989 Grand Wagoneer Charcoal Grey over Burgundy. The first luxury SUV. Such a classic vehicle. It has it's original matching numbers engine that had it's entire top end rebuilt 7000 miles ago (receipts included). The A/C compressor was not reinstalled, but everything else looks to be there. The under dash blower works great for vent air and heat. Also, during the rebuild a new Edelbrock Aluminum intake and Demon carburetor were installed as well as new wires and DUI HEI distributor. New belts, hoses, alternator, water pump, power steering pump and starter were replaced as well. Needless to say, it needs nothing mechanically. The transmission was serviced at the same time.
The previous owner removed the stock grill and replaced it with an earlier Gladiator style grill center and round headlights. I love the look! You can find a factory grill and headlights and bolt them right back on. No sheet metal was changed. I get a lot of comments about the Jeep, mostly about the grill!!
The tires have less than 1000 miles on the and are accompanied with a receipt for the next owner. The leather is supple, it is not stiff or cracked. Original front floor mats, carpet is very nice, always garaged. Also, all power options work properly. All power windows, including the rear lift gate glass, door locks, power seats, interior lights, dash lighting, overhead console compass and lights all work too! No headliner sag either!
Glass is good, body is straight, doors close perfect with no rattle, aftermarket radio sounds great. This has been taken care of, it is very original and is a great value compared similar Wagoneers on the market. I've owned a dozen of these, my first being when I was in high school in the 80's. I know the areas where they rust, the prone electrical issues, and fading wood grain, the leather worn off the steering wheel, and cracked seats! This one isn't perfect, but is one I'm proud to drive around and relive my glory days! It doesn't have any of those issues. It's one you can get in and enjoy around town, on the highway or on the trail. 4WD works great.
Sold as is with no warranty. Sold with clear title. I reserve the right to end the auction early because I'm also going to list her locally. I require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit at the end of the auction. I can store for a couple of weeks if needed. I can also help with transporting. I have a friend who is a broker, or fly in to Nashville and drive home!! Thanks
