1981 Jeep CJ Description:

1981 Jeep CJ7 project, mostly complete, great for street or off-road. Rust free body and frame with a lot of heavy duty mods. New heavy-duty 5-leaf springs all around, 2-1/2" body lift with reinforcing tube steel, heavy-duty fabricated transmission crossmember cage, steel fabricated steel bumpers with winch mount. This is set up for a 350 Chevy and includes a new bell housing that adapts to the Jeep 4-speed. Engine is not complete - basically a 350 long block with heads. Mickey Thompson 33X12.50R15LT's on 11" rims with 4-1/2" wheelwell flares. Dana 30 front axle, Dana 20 rear posi axle with 3:31 gears. New brake hardware; pads and rotors in front, drums and shoes in back. New front shocks, tilt steering wheel. It's set up for power steering and brakes. Complete new wiring harness included plus other parts. Nice hardtop with hard doors and roll-up windows.
