FOR SALE, 1985 Jeep CJ7. (NOT A PROJECT ) This one is done! It's been a five year build project with 20,000 proven driven reliable miles on the oldest part of build and 300 miles on most current work done to complete this build. This may be the nicest Classic CJ on your block of even town. If you're looking for a un cut, very sanitary Classic CJ7 that lived it's life in sunny rust free California read on. This CJ was built nice and is loaded with all the good options. The running gear under Jeep has been rebuilt, replaced or repaired and is leak free today and in great running conduction = SEE DRIVING VIDEO. Motor now fitted with *Howell TBI fuel injection for added power and performance, better cold start and will self adjust for altitude. This system is also a California approved epa upgrade if epa is an issue in your state for 1985 year old vehicles. The transmission is Jeep's T5 - 5 speed manual. The 5th gear will allow this CJ to drive at freeway or interstate speed of 70 mph if required of it. SEE DRIVING VIDEO ( I even drive CJ at freeway speeds in video to show how nice it drives out). The transmission was just rebuilt 100 percent all new, new clutch and clutch parts also installed 300 driven miles ago. The 4 by 4 Transfer case is Dana 300. Transfer case also removed, inspected, resealed & serviced when transmission out. All 4 wheel drive a;so in great working order and leak free. Rear end is Jeep amc 20 with factory drum brakes. Front end Dana 30 with power disc brakes and locking hubs. Jeep fitted with BF Goodrich 31 by 10.5 All terrain tires. Nice tire on the pavement and work great on the trails. 2 1/12 inch spring suspension lift with poly bushings added for better ride quality and body stance. Jeep retains it's factory gearing so this Classic CJ can still be driven in the city, on the highway or even taken off road as Jeep built them to do. The hard top and hard doors make this CJ one you can enjoy year round in any weather. ( Hard top and hard door's "both remove" for open air driving). It's a very reliable CJ that runs great and drives out nice. It stops straight, no wheel pull. It shifts and down shifts like new. (SEE DRIVING VIDEO) All electrical in great working order. New wiring harness under hood and new fuse box. The heater, wipers, horn, wiper sprayers, back up lights, power window, dash lights, gas gauge, temp gauge, oil gauge, volt gauge, ta, spedo, emergency brake, 4 wheel dash warning light, inside dome light all work in this CJ. The factory In dash spedo, odo cluster was not replaced in build "both still work great" odo reads 149k. A GPS driven spedo with digital readout and trip meter also added to drivers area for "very accurate" GPS speed readout. Jeep also fitted with key chain "remote alarm system" and a nice stereo system with 4 speakers. The body metal is super straight and the paint work is very nice. All body & paint work was professionally done. Jeep was taken apart before painted inside and out. New window glass, windows rubbers and door rubbers. SEE PHOTOS & WALK AROUND BODY PAINT VIDEO. This Jeep get a lot of complements on the paint color and how sanitary built and original it still look's today. No body armor, No cut fenders, No dents and no ugly leaks under this CJ. The factory Air conduction blows cold at 35 deg. A/C just serviced. So in a nut shell this CJ has nice straight body metal, nice paint, nice un cut body & floor pans. It's sanitary & refined inside and out, front to rear. Bottom side also cleaned and treated for the elements done in sem water proof/ rust proof treatment. Jeep just serviced, tuned and maintenance for the new owner. It's also loaded with options and everything works on this CJ. It's power steering = easy to drive. Power disc brake easy to stop. Shifts and downshifts like new, It run's great and drives nice both on and off pavement. ( It checks all the boxes for what a nice Classic CJ7 should be in my opinion) *Jeep garaged in Las Vegas Nevada at this time.
