This is the last year the factory built a CJ. This one is an unrestored all original top of the line Laredo CJ-7 with NO RUST ever. The original paint and decals still remain on the Jeep as well as the entire interior and drivetrain. There are only 36K orig miles on it. It was sold new in California and spent most of it's life there along with some time in Florida and then some Summer use in Minnesota. The Jeep is in fantastic original condition with a little patina from normal use. It has a very nice 3" lift on it but was never used for off road use. The BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A tires are near new and all match including the spare. All 5 original Chrome wheels and caps are there and in excellent condition. The chrome is beautiful, the underside is rust free and clean and it runs and drives perfect. Under the carpet the floors are rust free and clean original paint. The color is the beautiful one year only "paint code 4M" Charcoal Metallic. It is loaded with factory original options including the Laredo pkg, A/C, Tilt Steering, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Fog Lights, Hardtop and Hard Doors, 258 inline 6 cylinder engine, 5 speed manual transmission, Tachometer, Clock and more. It has a new radiator and I do have the original.
Now being an all original unrestored low mileage Jeep, it will have some minor flaws. The engine compartment is a little dirty, there is a small ding by the spare tire stop on the right rear quarter and tailgate, there are a few minor chips in some places, the paint on the windshield frame looks a little faded and really there is only a little bit of light wear showing here and there from being driven just 36K miles. The air conditioning might need a recharge too. But, you can be sure, it was always well kept and used sparingly on nice days and always stored inside. It is a beautiful Jeep CJ7 Laredo and is for sure one of the best remaining unrestored 1986's around anywhere!
The Jeep CJ's are very desirable and becoming highly valued by collectors and enthusiasts. Especially one that is the final year built, all original and loaded with options. It was a hard decision to let this one go but it is time. This Jeep is about as nice as it could be as a 33 year old original. The price is $25,000, or I may consider a close offer if the “Buy it Now” isn’t met...
