1972 jeep cj5 **American Motors

1972 Jeep CJ Description:

Over $11,000 in it. No rust new tub metal. Original motor has about 88,000 on it -was told by previous owner. New: wiper motor, carb, hei distributor, full exhaust, clutch, brakes,top,engine wire harness, lights, step bars, heater, shocks, steering stabilizer shock assembly and more. The following was changed: The steering column was pro shortened 4" and drivers seat moved back 4", Im 5'9 and it's much more comforting to drive. Has the typical 17" steering wheel and of course the three speed transmission.
This is a driver not a show car it does have a very small dent by front left fender and a few paint nicks here and there but very presentable- it's the cleanest one around here!! There is no carpet and I made a drink holder attached to a metal ammo box- works great and is lockable..But easy to take it out if you like.
Runs wel, It has a new two into one motorcraft carb-better than original. mpg is about 15. These engines run forever and they get up and go better than a four.
These cj5's are getting harder to find- rust free most have diamond plate not this one.I tried showing pic of underneath you can kind of see the undercoating. Frame was sandblasted and painted by previous owner and the new tub bolted down. It's rust free
