1981 Jeep CJ Laredo Description:
Only 88,403 miles, 2nd owner I bought this last year from a family in California that ordered it from the factory in 1981. Rare automatic transmission, inline 6 engine, PS, PB, runs great. I added the Laredo decal package, it does have the factory clock and tachometer. Its got a brand new Best-top super top only put on the jeep once, stored inside since. New Bikini top, new rear deck cover. New rear 6 x 9 speaker enclosures with cup holders. New Dash pad, Bluetooth stereo. New Battery. Spare tire carrier can also hold two five gallon gas cans. 4 wheel works good, heater works and I installed all new heater cables. 33 x 12 BF Goodrich all-terrain tires. 2-inch lift. The front seats are nice leather or vinyl, not sure which, but in excellent condition, the seat covers are just for comfort in the hot sun. It does still need an emergency brake pedal assembly and it has a slight tick in the engine, which sounds like an exhaust leak to me. Starts right up and drives nice, even on the freeway, Other that than its perfect, but its time for me to move on to another project. This is a super nice Jeep with NO rust.
