1987 jeep Cherokee xj has been fully restored the body was stripped down to bare metal all typical rust areas have been cut out and replaced with metal. Anti-corrosion protection has been applied to all body panels frame sections etc. The exterior paint is PPG base-coat clearcoat white with blue ghost pearl The bottom half of the exterior panels have been coated with bedliner for protection against rocks and debris Also the undercarriage has been coated with bedliner as well.The front bumpe, rear bumpe, fender flare, and roof rack are all one off fabricated pieces completely welded 3/16 “ plate steel was used for the construction of both bumpers they were coated with Epoxy primer painted then coated with bedliner.The interior panels have all been refurbished a new headliner and sunvisors custom Hydro dipped door panels hydrodipped,center console and instrument cluster bezel.The seats have seat covers installed on them the original Jeep upholstery lies underneath and has typical wear.The carpet has been removed and bedliner coating was sprayed on to the floor.This vehicle has from factory power window, power door lock, rear wipe, defroster, power seats heating and air-conditioning all work as they should in fact the complete air conditioning system including AC line, filter drye, condenser, compressor have all been replaced with brand new parts and has been converted from R 12 to R 134 Freon.The engine is a 4.0 l Straight six it is a remanufactured motor with a two year unlimited mile warranty.Since installation I’ve put about 2500 miles onto this engine complete distributor, alternator, water pump, starter, injectors, coil, all engine sensor, Power steering pum, lines powe, steering box,Have all been replaced with brand new parts.Brand new updated radiator all heater hoses radiator hoses Vacuum lines rubber fuel lines new fuel filter.The jeep is sitting on 33/12.50 /15 Maxis Big Horn’s on custom hydro dipped rims .The suspension geometry is correct rough country lowering brackets and adjustable heavy duty trailing arms were installed as well as adjustable ball joints and all tire rod ends were replaced.New rotors and brake pads and brake lines installed, brake fluid has been flushed.Front and rear Differentials have been serviced as well as the transfer case.Transmission runs and shifts fine.Shocks and steering dampener are all new drop sway bar links in the front are new with bushings and sway bar.Lowering bracket and extended track bar are installed.Muffler and rear exhaust pipe have been replaced exhaust is in great condition. Hundreds and hundreds of hours have gone into this xj I have been professionally doing auto collision and restoration work for 30 years now This was a father-son project and a lot of love went into this jee, my son is now headed to college and is the reason why I am unfortunately putting this up for sale.
