1981 Jeep CJ Scrambler Description:
I'm selling my 1981 CJ8 Scrambler. I have had the Jeep for several years now and have spent a lot of time and money getting it ready to go. It runs good and it turns a lot of heads. Some of the recent work includes, rebuilt motor, rebuilt transmission (Just Jeeps), body mounts, Holley 600 carburetor, lights, electrical, dash and rear seat from (Baldy's Jeep Shop), other odd and end things from (Jeep Slop Shop). New paint job and bed-linedfront and rear bumpers (Simmons Industries). Rebuilt shafts, long tubes and exhaust and brand new 35" KO2's. The jeep has the straight 6 with an automatic transmission and shifts very smooth. The Jeep has approximately 6 inches of lift. The Jeep currently has the truck top attached but I also have the full length hard top, soft top and full hard doors. I currently have the back glass out of the truck top for ventilation.All in all it is a great jeep and it comes with everything plus a few additional parts like twin stick and few other things that I will not be using anymore.
