This is a 1985 Jeep CJ-7 Laredo in triple black. Black exterior, black interior and black top. Sold as is. Clean and clear Carfax. Clean title in hand. 258 straight 6 engine. T-5, five speed manual transmission. Dana 300 transfer case. If you've been looking for a great CJ-7 with all the bells and whistles than this is the Jeep CJ for you. This Jeep has a very reasonable, no reserve starting price. I've been owning this Jeep for about 10 years and it's been stored inside my warehouse. It looks to never have been taken off road. Very clean underneath. I have never driven it in the rain. I purchased it here in Louisiana and believe it has always been in Louisiana. I believe it is mostly original paint. The Jeep is in the same condition I purchased it in. I drive it every so often to keep things fresh. I just drove it about 20 miles with no issues. A new baby has me selling off some of my collection. This is a true Laredo not a clone. It currently has low original miles at 67,908. This may change as I do drive it around a little. All options on this CJ were factory installed. Power steering, power brakes, wide track axles, chrome package, intermittent wipers that work, leather Laredo steering wheel and grab bar and the list goes on. It has A/C that blows cool but could use a recharge. All fan speeds are smooth with the A/C. The Jeep starts right up and idles good. It runs and stops as it should. The 4x4 works as it should and is very easy to shift in and out of 4L, 4H, 2H and N. I shifted it in and out of 4x4 numerous times today with little pressure on the transfer case knob. The driver's seat has the common outer bolster tear. The clock second turns but the time doesn't change. It is missing the adjustment knob. Tach works, OEM radio in dash is not hooked up. The radio is original to the Jeep. Previous owner had a radio installed in an aftermarket center console that I replaced with a factory black console. Has tilt steering, 20 gallon gas tank with all fresh gas and an oil change about 10 miles ago. The gas gauge works sometimes. The factory Marchal fog lights work. The floor boards are very solid with some surface rust and around the roll bar feet has some surface rust also. There is a small rust spot on the drivers side of the hood towards the back on the curved area. The frame is in great shape. There is a area on the hood on the passenger side towards the back curve that was touched up at one point. The driver's door and passenger fender have been repainted sometime in the past. The paint on the driver's door is spider web cracking some. The passenger door must have been dropped at one point because the bottom edge is curled in. Both doors shut surprisingly smooth and tight as a low mileage Jeep CJ should. The hardtop shocks hold up the rear hatch with no slip when the back glass is up. A set of original keys are included. The doors do not have the common stress cracks in them inside at the top. I've never taken the top off. This Jeep will look slick as can be with out the top and doors for some nice weather driving. I'm sure I am leaving a lot out and will add things as I remember. I've run out of picture space through eBay with 24 pictures that can be enlarged. I've included pictures of any of the problem ares which I've also mentioned in the description. If you're looking at this Jeep than you know how rare it is. It is a very nice 34 year Jeep so please don't expect a brand new jeep. It is priced very reasonably for what this rare CJ has to offer.
The passenger seat is in great shape with no rips. The dash pad is in great shape with no cracks. All 5 tires are in excellent condition with the nipples still present at the top of the tread. Full black OEM removable carpet kit in great shape. I wish I could add more pictures to show how awesome this CJ is.The ground under the Jeep is nice and dry. No leaks...
