1979 Jeep CJ Golden Eagle Description:

1979 CJ7 GOLDEN EAGLE SHOW WINNER 2019 JEEP JAM. Condition is Restored. Seven year complete frame off restoration. Everything on this jeep is new or restored like new. This Jeep has been modified. The gas tank fill tube has been moved from the back to the driver side to make refueling easier on driver. The half doors and roll bar came from a 90 YJ to make it more comfortable inside. The anti-sway bar has been increased to 11/8" to help with the handling. It has a1 ¾' complete suspension lift, 1.5" body lift and the front shackles has a 1" lift. This gives it a total lift of 4 1/4" to handle the massive 12.5 x 33 x 15" BF Goodrich tires. They are on 15" x 10 "Ultra-light weight racing wheels. Under the hood there is a AMC 360ci engine that has been bored 40 over with new rods, pistons and a crankshaft. Heads have been completely reworked and modified to handle the massive cam. The exhaust is handled by a set of ceramic coated headers by Headman and the mufflers are a custom set of thrust 3 chambers exhaust for the prefect sound. The jeep has an Elderblock intake with a Quick Fuel 650 carb Msd wiring chevy style distributor, chrome 85 amp alternator, the original 3sp transmission has been totally rebuilt and inspected as well as the original transfer case. All the axles, rear and front gear units are the original units. They have just been inspected and rebuilt as needed.
All the brake lines, chrome master cylinder, chrome brake booster, wheel kits and calipers are new. In other words the brake system has completely been replaced.
Underneath the body and inside floor, all fender wells, as well as the fire wall have been sprayed with Line-X bed liner to total capsulate the body. All the interior seats are new Bestop Trailmax II Sport Fabric Seat Spice Reclining and the rear seat is Bestop Trailmax II Fold & Tumble Rear Bench Seat Fabric Spice by Bestop
All the gauges are Dakota Digital VHX Speedometer Kit - black Face with Blue LED's Sony radio and speakers make up the sounds.
This jeep also comes with three tops which include the original hard top that needs restoring, a RAMPAGE full soft top with upper doors and a Bestop Bikini top Black
Paint is a Custom slate color but looks black in daytime must see to appreciate.
