****1981 Mitsubishi J24 military Jeep

Own a piece of history……this Jeep was made in Japan through a licensing agreement between Mitsubishi and Jeep for the military based US specifications for the drive train and certain style details with a few improvements such as full steel doors, a gun locker, and a Mitsubishi diesel engine. The body wider and slightly longer than most Jeeps, and will run 31” tires without any lift. It is VERY torquey and handles well off road. The diesel motor gets nearly 20 MPG, and is extremely reliable. Two batteries power the 24 V electrical system which is also extremely reliable. It has been garage kept and never seen a drop of rain, or any salt.

Here is a list of the works, parts replaced and modifications:

·Professional body restoration / paint job were done by L & P restorations in a dark green with extra clear coats applied.

·Additionally, the tub was rhino-lined with P20 paint applied to the undercarriage.

·A full roll cage and sound bar were fabricated and installed for a perfect fit

·Seat belts front and back installed

·Back jump seats installed

·Custom full canvass top with marine grade canvass, and matching bimini top

·Center console .50 ammo can with marine grade radio

·Wood grain door panels

·Rims, spare tire carrier, seat frames, and headlight-guards powder coated

·2016 compression test perfect for motor

·New exhaust system

·Brakes replaced 900 miles ago, all four

·Billstein shocks all 4

·All 4 tires and 1 full spare, 30” BF Goodrich All terrain with 900 miles

·New windshield

·Door and window gaskets / molding replaced

·Steering wheel and horn assembly replaced

·Turn signal and steering column cover replaced

·Gear and 4WD shifter boots replaced

·Marine grade stainless steel screws and bolts used everywhere possible

·Air compressor installed under seat

·12V accessory plugs, and converter installed

·Oil / filter changed every 6 months with Rotella

·Spare brake, tune up, and other miscellaneous parts included
