1969 Jeep CJ 5, engine is a 1984 4.1 l Buic, 325 HP, bored .060 over, Wiseco forged aluminum pistons, Kenny Bell rods and crank, stainless steel valves, HD valve springs, offenhouser cam and lifters, offenhouser intake, holley 600 carb, Malory mechanical Uni-lite distributor, Hooker super competition headers, glass packs. Drive train is stock, breaks, wheel cylinders, drums,hard ware kits, bearings all have been replaces, painless wiring harness, diamond plate dash with digital gauges, pro street buckets with custom adjustable brackets, fuel cell. This jeep was built for a guy who had a very large farm,he decided to go with the V-6 in stead of the v-8, wasn't much power difference ( for what he wanted) but its about 200 lbs lighter. it was not intended to be driven on the street,it is not far from street legal, biggest thing would be a full exhaust, I personally would replace the Uni-lite with a HEI, The guy who built this invested well over $12,00, a big chunk was the engine, any one who built a Buick knows it is not the same as a SBC.. I know this will not be a 100% return, but is extremely reasonable at $8,500. I have seen Jeeps around the same vintage here on ebay, rust buckets that need 5k in work going for 4-5k.. This literally has 50 miles on it since the work was done, stored in a heated garage,was started and run monthly.
