1963 Jeep FC170 1 ton Description:

Nice, 90% rust free FC 170 from Reno Nevada, now located in Florida dry storage.

Truck originally owned by an Aviation Company and still has the metal inventory tag. It runs and drives well, with the stock 226-6, 3 spd T90 and single stick transfer case and locking hubs. Hasnew brakes and runs good.. Very little rust, but needs body work. Misc dents all around, drivers door has bondo, bed is well used, minor surface rust cab roof, gutters good. Overall - no rust issues other that small quarter size to pin holes on drivers and passenger side floors behind seats....that's it. Frame excellent, inner fendersexcellent (but flares broken, front glass cracked side glass ok.Floorsand oare really good,Front cab corners on FC's allalways rusted out, but thesecorners solid,All window regulators work.

This truck is 90% stock, but here are the non-stock items -plexi-glass dash panel on top ( I have no idea) but I have a nice stock dash panel that goes with truck.Original FC seats replaced by adjustable bucket seat, and the rear diff appears to be from later Jeep, and PO also did a spring over with new shock mounts so the rear is 4 in higher than it should be. Easy correction back to stock.4x4 works well and this FC has the stock heater. Great truck as driver while you work on it -or work on as project this winter.FC's are red hot now -you will not lose money on this truck.

The only reason I am selling is that I have found a J300 DRW that I want as my next project.
