1983 Jeep CJ Description:

Engine is 4.2 straight six, 5 speed. Stock axles and transfer case.
Everything that bolts to the engine has been replaced, weber carburetor, starter, solenoid, valve cover, alternator, thermostat, oil pressure sender, temperature sender, freeze plugs, fuel pump, belts hoses, plugs and wires and fluids.
Body is straight and in very good condition. A dent under the passenger side door was professionally repaired. The paint is 2015 hemi orange, decals are aftermarket. The hood, windshield, front quarters are heavy gauge fiberglass as well as the bulkhead (wall behind seats). I have the original bulkhead and is usable. The doors are in excellent shape, all new rubber, seals. Hinges, mirrors, door handles, and misc hardware have been replaced with stainless steel. Frame is in very good condition with no welds or repairs. The steering box has been replaced, bushings on steering components have been replaced, new shocks. New seats, new seat belts, new indicator lights and pulls. Gauges are working. Stock AMC radio works. New fuel tank, new fuel sending unit. The brakes have been upgraded to power brakes. All new stainless steel brake lines and fuel lines from classic tube. Four new 33 x 12.5 AT tires. New exhaust with mild sounding flowmaster muffler. The scrambler half top is included and in good shape. Jeep had a few road chips in the paint now and abrasions from the hard top, otherwise shows new. Has been garage keep and is ready to be taken to the next level. A title check will show the jeep coming back with an odometer discrepancy due to a titling error by previous owner. The mileage on the jeep is roughly 81,000 ( the speedometer was switched out to one that was in better condition and the gauges worked). Jeep has been tagged since last summer and on the road.
