1995 Jaguar XJS Leather, black and tan--perfect Description:

This '95 SJS is in fantastic condition for its age. The leather upholstery is a 95 out of 100 and the top has only one small abrasion seen in photo # 9. The body does not appear to have ever been banged or repainted and while some road rash is present the body is near perfect. Note that some photos show a reflection of the gravel the car is sitting on and not markings. The tires are properly sized Michelins GreenX with at least 75% or more tread. Mileage is questionable although condition would suggest 100k region is reasonable. Registration says 99,998 on 05/30/17 but indications suggest 103K to as much as 130K but AutoCheck does not take exception. The first 5 years of this Jag's life were leased which generally indicates good maintenance. I put this car through a registered shop for safety inspection, general condition and fluid check/change. The car drives beautifully but engine runs rough believed to be result of low grade gas as this car needs the high test. I will try to drain and refill with hi-test. The A/C blows but not cold. Radio/CD player does not come on or at least I haven't found the secret. Power seats have a 2-driver memory and appear to work. Power top kinda works but the Brits have never mastered that, indicated by the fact that there is a 'power' and 'manual' setting. Needs human intervention to ensure that the glass rear window dives down first. Still very easy to go up and down and the tonneau* cover fits well and has all the hooks and fasteners intact. In all respects, this is a lovely example of an un-restored XJS.
