This car is missing the bonnet assembly, gearbox, radiator, some chrome fittings, and other miscellaneous items but is very fairly priced for a car with great potential and worthy of a proper restoration. Please examine all of the photos for the items that are included with this sale.The car includes a non-matching but period 3.8 Liter E-type engine, mostly disassembled. This engine was purchased from a machine shop who verified that the crankshaft, cylinder head, and block were all in great condition for rebuild, with no cracks or other issues. Also included is the correct alloy-finned oil pan and 3.8 E flywheel.The body on this car appears accident-free with a nice back end on the car and a very good bulkhead area. The doors and hatchlid fit well. The car does need some rust repair, the most noticeable part being both outer/lower doorskins. The main floors need some attention as well as the boot floor. The framerails appear very nice and straight, and the car still retains it's original picture frame with chassis number stamping, data plate, and body tag.The interior trim in this car is largely untouched with many original fittings. The 6 instruments have been removed but are present. The car still has it's correct 3.8 Coupe seats and a nice steering wheel. The glass is the original, the windshield needs renewing. The car is missing some exterior chrome, which is available.Please look over the parts pictures, as everything shown is included with the sale of the car.Overall, a very desirable and valuable Jaguar with an attractive buy-in price to start your restoration project.
