1988 Jaguar XJS Description:
I'm the second owner of this beautiful convertible.Clean Carfax, I'll past it at the end of the listing.This car spent all it's life with one family in Long Island, garage kept & only driven on beautiful summer days. Never seen rain & has taken a few trips down to Florida. Clean, classic & drives like a charm. Listen to that beautiful V12 purr as you cruise down the highway or wind around country back roads. Either way, this is the summer car of your dreams.Car is all original except newer CD player been installed and also has a build in radar detector. Everything works, no dash lights, no strange noises. AC has new compressor, but need to be charged (this is convertible, so I did not bother). Brake job (including rotors was done by the previous owner about a year go). Good Pirelli tires. Top is original, but in the great shape, Headliner is in a good condition also. I would not be afraid to drive it cross country. No rust on the body or frame anywhere. Good class. One small chip at the windshield. (you would need glasses to notice it). Passenger side power mirror works, but driver side need to be adjusted manually. And wood trim around the shifter need to be refreshed (there is a guy in FL who does it for $250, I do have an info).I do not think there is anything else that is not working.
