You are bidding on a very low production number XK 140 fixed head MC coupe. This jaguar XK 140 coupe was disassembled in 1972. The car was taken apart and is in boxes. The aluminum hood and trunk lid are both intact and in pretty good shape. It is extremely hard to tell if all the pieces are there for the car, but the prior owner said that for the most part, everything that was on the car is in the boxes. The motor and transmission and rear are original to the car and they match the Body tag numbers. The intake Is the correct intak, howeve, the original C cylinder head has been missing from the car for year, but it does have a B cylinder head from a later model year. This coupe has the highest horsepower you could get in 1954. The transmission is a very rare 4 -speed with electronic overdrive. The color is Burgundy And the interior is either a red or burgundy leather well. The car has frame rot and obviously needs a full restoration. We have the rear glass and side glass .
