1994 Jaguar XJ Description:
I am testing the waters about selling my 1994 Jaguar XJ12 with the 6 liter V12 engine. The car has only 73,900 miles on it currently and is not being driven. A couple weeks ago it was extremely windy for a couple days and a tree branch fell on the windshield and put a spider web crack in the windshield a long with a small dent on the front right fender. There wasn't any insurance on the car which is why I haven't repaired the windshield. The car had 71,000 miles when I bought it. I don't have the time and money to put into it. It has a couple fluid leaks. The oil pan gasket or front main seal needs to be replaced, as the bottom of the engine is covered in oil. The power steering hoses need to be replaced because there is a slight leak coming from them. The AC doesn't work currently but it needs a charge of Freon to make it work. I charged it last September and was ice cold when it was working. The car is very clean, there is slight clear coat peeling on the roof. Tires have a bit more than 50% life left. Brakes are in good condition as well! It could probably use an oil change. It holds around 10.5 quarts and I have not had to put a drop of oil in it. It would be a great project car for someone who has the time and money. Once the engine is warm, it's a little shaky. It probably needs a set of 02 sensors and I planned on sending the fuel injectors out to get professionally cleaned which would make it run super smooth. The transmission shifts super smooth and uses a GM 4L80E transmission. The fluid is red and not burnt at all. Just testing the waters and seeing what I could get for it. $5,000 obo.
