1988 Jaguar XJS V8 project

67,500 MILEAGE

1988 Jaguar XJS Description:

I had every intention of finishing this project but our 2nd baby is due in a few weeks and there is no way I'm getting it done. I'd hate to let the car site for a few more years until I get time so I've decided to cut my losses and let it go.
The car
1988 Jaguar Racing Green XJS with 67k miles on it. 2 owner car. Interior is in great shape but it does need a headliner. I have removed and rebuilt the entire rear subframe and differential. New seals, bearings, mounts, rotors and calipers. Car has all new shocks and newer Pirelli tires. I have also installed a new steering rack and tie rod ends with new mounts. The V12 was professionally removed so nothing was chopped or mangled . There was a brake fluid leak so I've stripped and primed the inner fender and welded in a small patch panel where it rusted through. There is still a full harness and ECU in the car that's worth good money
The donor car
I bought a running and driving 93 Buick Roadmaster and did all the diagnostics and testing on it before removing it. It's a 350 with throttle body injection and a 700R4 transmission. The motor has been cleaned and painted, new Elgin Roller cam installed, new valve seals, timing chain lifters, water pump, power steering pump and oil pump. I have a shift kit and a new torque converter for the transmission. I have the entire harness, ecu, intake and all sensors for it.
I have a brand new cooling package from a 2005 Camaro with Radiator, condenser and elec fans. I have the V8 swap mounts as well as the manual.
I have boxes of extra parts including a new master cylinder and ball joints.
I have over $10,000 and 18 months into this project but the reality of it is that I will not be able to finish this project myself. Serious offers only please and only if you know what you're doing
Price is for everything but I am willing to sell car only if you already have a powertrain
