1984 Jaguar XJ6 Base Sedan 4-Door Description:

This is an excellent condition two-owner 1984 XJ6 finished in white with tan leather interior. I purchased this car from an elderly woman who has taken exceptional care of this vehicle over its life. This is an Arizona car and has rarely seen rain. Its interior has been covered from the sun for its life. It has sat in a climate controlled garage, unused for the last three years.
Upon acquisition, I had this car thoroughly inspected by the Phoenix area’s leading British auto mechanic, British Automotive Repair. The car received a complete tune-up, new battery and A/C refresh less than 200 miles ago. All service records, past and present, are maintained.
The interior in this vehicle is nothing short of a time-capsule. All seats and dash have been shielded from any sun exposure during the life of this car. The mahogany wood is in excellent condition. This car is immaculate, with the exception of some minor cracking in the leather center console, a quarter-sized dent in the right side front fender, and two dime-sized paint chips at the left corners of the front and rear windows, respectively. Each of the imperfections listed are photographed in high resolution for your review.
Mechanically the car is fantastic with no known issues. Every feature and function works as it should; windows, door locks, sun-roof, antenna, stereo, A/C, heater, interior, horn and exterior lights, (both high and low). The only known exception: the right rear passenger window does not function from the center console control; however, it remains in perfect working order from the actual door control.
Body and paint is excellent (minus what was stated above). There are some very minor chips from normal driving (eraser sized or less), but they are few and infinitesimal. Some minor spider veining exists in a very small area of the trunk paint, however, it is virtually unperceivable and remains so opaque, photographs cannot pick it up. The tires are relatively new (9/10).
A Kenwood aftermarket stereo was installed. The original stereo is present and both will come with the sale.
This has been a non-smoker car for its life and has a clean CARFAX.
This is a rare example of an exceptional 1984 Jaguar XJ6. I have done my best to present you with a thorough description, photographing the beauty of this luxury cruiser and highlighting the known imperfections.
Clear title.

A note to the above:

  • I have been asked to provide photos of the engine bay. I have included those, a video of the car starting and all high res images used in this listing at the following address:https://flic.kr/s/aHsm8RX9U5
  • I failed to note that the rear right passenger ceiling has somefabric coming loose from the headliner. I assume this is an easy fix, but want to ensure it is disclosed.
  • I have 2.5 cases (~30 14oz cans) of Sercon 12Refrigerant (see external photo link). The are going for $ oneBay. Wouldconsider including in the sale.
