This 1963 International Scout 80 is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior and interior. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. It’s a 3-speed manual transmission with 4x4 hi and low. It is not a highway vechile.

Vehicle Details

Hello, being offered for sale is this beautiful 1963 International Scout 80, this has been a California truck until its been garged for the past year. This vehicle is believed to have had only two previous owners. Over the past two years this scout has been gone through extensively. This Scout has been recently painted in a "Faux Patina" paint finish, with both base and clear coats of paint. The base color is an Off-White non-metallic color called "Nebulous White" which is very similar to Wilmington White. The clear coat is done with 3 coats of flat clear. It should be noted that this truck's body was cleaned up and repaired, any/all areas of rust were cut out and replaced with new metal, also all the body lines of the truck were set properly prior to painting.

We went with this weathered aged look for the paint job on this Scout because of our love for how these old trucks look in a patina’ d state. We wanted a cool look without having to worry about scratching the paint, we also wanted the confidence of knowing all areas of rust were addressed prior to painting. So, although this truck looks old and weathered because of the faux patina, the body is nice and sound. The interior of the scout has been redone, new carpet, dash, door, and seat covers made and stitched by hand using a southwestern blue, brown and tan wool blend fabric. Genuine leather was used to wrap the seats and inserts for the door panels. Vinyl was used to wrap the dash. New center console added with cup holders and rewrapped armrest, new steering wheel. New door window felts and new miscellaneous weatherstripping in cab area.

Mechanically the truck is also very sound. New mechanical items include:

• 32/36 Weber 2-barrel carburetor and linkage.
• Upgraded ignition and coil.
• The rear differential has been completely rebuilt.
• D&C brake master cylinder and brake booster.
• Full brake inspection and service, with new soft lines and fittings.
• New exhaust with new piping front to back.
• New shocks on al| 4-sides.
• New shackles front and back, new spring bushings front and back.
• New headlights, all new light lens' front and back.
• The fuel system has been cleaned and serviced. New low pressure fuel pump added.
• New gauges for fuel, water temp, oil pressure, and voltage. Added to dash.
• New one-wire Alternator.
• New Battery.
• New Slave Cylinder and lines.
• New soft-top.
• New bumpers front and rear.
• Bf Goodrich 32/12.5/15 Tires in great shape, 15" polished wheels.
• Complete service of differentials.
• New windshield and gasket.
• Refurbished both window regulators.

Additional details:

o There is no radio in the Scout.

o The heater box and core were removed to accommodate the upgraded braking system.

o The door locks do not work.

o There is a small leak coming from the transfer case. (I have the gaskets required to fix this.)

o Only one of the two fuel tanks is plumbed/useable.

o There is no horn.

o Turn signal controller needs maintenance.

The scout runs great and is ready for its new home.
