Retired small town water truck with the fire dept.

1971 International Harvester Cargostar Standard Description:

1971 IH 1710 Cargostar, retired fire dept. water truck. Can not verify the mileage but mechanically sound and runs well. Won’t go into granny gear but starting from second is like first gear in any truck. Has had some body work due to rusted drip rails, painted in primer. Single speed axle, this is a tough hauling mule. Air brakes and horn work. Tires have plenty of tread. Would make a good farm truck or short hauler. I believe the engine is a 392 but could be a 345ci., has the Holly 4bbl.
