1955 International Harvester R162 Flatbed Truck

1955 International Harvester Other Description:

This is a partially restored IH truck. It runs well. Engine was recently rebuilt. New master brake cylinder, New alternator, Rebuilt starter, Rebuilt fuel pump. Electrical rewired except for windshield wipers, 12 foot bed with New rear bumper and hitch, Truck has been converted to 12 volt. This truck runs well except that it needs new ring gear. Engine and carburetor are not original. They are off of a IH truck which is a few years newer according to my mechanic. Registration is current. The transmission is the 4 speed with vacuum operated 2 speed rear end. Brakes are hydraulic with vacuum boost. I will entertain any reasonable offer. Mileage is uncertain as speedometer is missing the cable.
