1968 International Harvester Scout 800 Description:

1968 IH Scout 800 Factory V8 Dana 44 rear axle 3.73 gears 3 speed transmission 4x4 Originally from Austin, TX this 68 Scout is a great start for a restoration. It has a very solid body (for a Scout) and is not rotten in all of the usual places. The V8 engine appears to be stuck and is not turning over right now.A previous owner started to take the intake off and never finished, the bolts are loose and one is rounded off. The truck is 95% complete. I do not have a top for it and it is missing the horn button. It still has the factory bucket seats in the front and I have a rare factory rear seat frame to go with it. No rear bumper. Tires hold air, but are not good.Hood hinges are looseThis is a project, but a very worthy one.I have a clean LA title in my name for it.
