1955 International Harvester Other Description:

This truck has been in the family for nearly four decades. We are its second owners. Sat for extended periods so recently made the following repairs and improvements: New brake shoes and cylinders all the way around. They now work perfect. New (two weeks ago) 6 volt generator and regulator. also work perfectly. New rubber on the front. Rear three or four years ago. Minus the tube radio, EVERYTHING on this truck is fully functional. Heater actually keeps you comfortable in 20 degree weather. Vacuum wipers work consistently.
I drive this old thing 40 miles to work a couple times a month just for the fun of it....55/60 mph all the way with out a hitch.
As far as the body; rear fenders have dings but there is no through rust anywhere and that includes solid floorboards. Perfect patina here!
