What you are getting:
196 engine from a Scout II, rebuilt 4 years ago by Previous Owner.
Weber carburetor.
T90 3 speed transmission rebuilt
New rear drive shaft
Dana 18 transfer case (will likely need a rebuild soon, not hard to do)
Dana 27 front axle with upgraded disk brakes, front knuckle seals replaced, bearings replaced
New master cylinder
New brake shoes on the rear
Dana 44 rear axle
Mickey Thompson MTZ 265-75-16, basically 32" tires
Reupholstered rear seats.
Front bucket seats.
Roll Bar.
All glass good.
New gauge set (gas, oil, water, volts, and water are currently not working)
Speedometer works and is fairly accurate.
Electronic fuel pump.
New starter.
Body has been rhino lined.
Minimal surface rust on body and frame.
Solid floor boards and rockers.
Factory PTO 8000 LB Ramsey winch (hard and expensive to find) works great.
Bikini top
American Racing Wheels
Diamond Plate lock box (set up as a lockable trunk in case you go topless)
Simple center console with two cup holders.
Ducting for the fresh air vents
Drivers side windshield wiper was upgraded to electric and works.
Skid Plate for front axle (weighs heavy so it was taken off)
Fly wheel cover
New cable for Emergency brake from the U to the pull.
All areas that appear to be painted black were surface rust dirty areas that were wire brushed, painted with rust neutralizer multiple times, primed, and painted with POR15. I never planned on making this a frame off restoration just a solid weekend cruiser.
LED tail lights
Line Set Ticket
Scout Parts Book and Manual
Where I think the Scout needs attention and next on my list (not in any particular order):
Rear main seal leaks, about 2 drops in 24 hours.
Transfer case to transmission seal leaks, about 2 drops in 24 hours
Ramsey winch leaks, not bad but would need repair if you plan to use it.
Steering box leaks, about a drop a week.
Front knuckle on driver side leaks even though the seals were replaced. This is common, could just need to be tightened a ¼ turn.
Battery shelf is still solid but has some rusty holes (this is probably the worst rust on the truck)
Second worst rust area is under the hood, but it appears to be a simple surface rust fix, see pictures.
Front head lights only work on high beam, planned to rewire.
Temperature, Oil, Volts and Gas gauges do not work, planned to rewire.
Both gas tanks are solid, but I have only used one. Not sure how old the gas is in on the passenger side. The PO said it had venting issues and was difficult to fill so I have only been using the driver side. I have the cover for the right tank. The gas diverter was replaced by the PO.
The PO used larger shackles and 1" metal washers to provide the lift, I had planned to install the spring under CPT kit from IH Parts America. I have the original shackles if you want them.
Choke is not connected, I have just been giving a solid 3 pumps prior to starting and the engine fires right up.
Bent/broken body mount, bought it this way and hasn't been an issue. If you plan to off road this would be a must repair.
If you plan to 4 wheel the Dana 27 differential will need to be rebuilt, both axles lock. I pulled the differential cover and found a few teeth.
Electronic Fuel pump is loud, works great but is a bit annoying. Many people complain about this pump because of the noise. I added rubber bushing to dampen the noise between the frame and pump.
The PO connected USB port directly to the battery for his phone, this has a constant small draw and will drain the battery if the truck hasn't been started for a few weeks. I was going to disconnect this or fix during the rewire.
