1945 International K5 Pumper Fire Truck Fully Equipped

1945 International Harvester K5 Fire Truck Description:

Lots of original equipment including air siren, lights, 3 tier wood ladder and brass nozzles. The truck is mostly original, probably been repainted a couple times over the years. Everything works on the truck. It was removed from service in 1999 and had one other private owner before me. Has been to many car shows and parades. Runs, drives, and stops like it should. Will start right up and idle perfectly after sitting for weeks. I noticed that one of the rear wheel cylinders is leaking a little fluid so the brakes should be looked at if you plan on driving it often. It has been stored indoors it entire life. There is no rust on the body or frame but the water tank is rusted out and does not carry water. The pump mechanism works just like it should (up to 400 gpm) and it comes with plenty of extra hose. It is not the type of vehicle you would drive home as top speed is about 45/50mph. A heavy equipment flatbed trailer works great for moving it long distances.
