1987 Hummer H1 M998 Description:

You are bidding on a very nice 1987 HUMVEE M998. This is powered by the desirable 6.5 Diesel motor with ONLY 5,982 miles (may go up 5-50 miles before auction is over as I drive this often around town). This is turn key and will need nothing. It runs great and no work will need to be done on this solid one of a kind find. This is titled in Iowa for road use with license plates and registration. I have the title in hand. There is no issue with the title as it is like buying any other vehicle. I simply sign the title over to the buyer and the buyer takes the title to their local courthouse to get it titled and licensed in whatever state. Please check with your local courthouse if you are insure of anything before bidding.
This is a very nice humvee. It appears the humvee was redone/repainted/ in 2007 by the military. I took a picture of the serial number plate that shows "07/07." I believe this was the way of keeping track of updates completed. On the dash is stamped "CARC 07/07" which I believe indicates when the military painted it. All the dash stickers are on the vehicle from the military. The seats are in great condition with no rips or tears. All four seat belts work and are factory from the military. The tires appear to be in like new condition with nearly full tread on them. Some of the tires still have the white little stickers on them near the rim with a bar code that have not came off.
All the lights work including turn signals and brake lights. All the gauge lights work. This thing starts up right away with no issues. It drives down the road good with no issues. Brakes work good. I have drove 55-60mph with no issues. There are four soft doors that are in good shape that come with the humvee. The soft top and rear soft curtain are in good shape with no issues. Sound deading material was added under the hood which always a normal conversation while cruising around town. There is a cup holder and storage container mounted near the front.
The body is in great shape. There are no major dents or dings. I also have the rear cargo cover for the back that will be included with brackets that is like brand new. There are some light scratches in the bed area which I consider normal wear and tear on a truck bed.
I hate to sell this as it is a one of a kind find because of its great solid all around shape and having the 6.5 will low low miles. Selling to make room and pay for a wedding. Don't waste your money buying junk from the auction or guys trying to just flip a buck. You will not be disappointed in this machine!!!!

The VIN number on the Iowa title shows "043288." The VIN on the listing needed 17 digits so 17 "zeros" were added to complete the listing. This is being sold as is with no warranty.
