1991 American General hmmwv/m998. This is the original military version of the hummer h1. It is superior to the h1 being lighter and having better ground clearance. This m998 only has 32000 miles, it is equipped with a gm 6.2 diesel paired to an bulletproof turbo 350, removed the droning military exhaust and replaced it with flowmaster 50 series. It really helped quiet down cab noise while adding a more aggressive exhaust note without being too loud. It has brand new tires, 2 new batteries, all fluids were changed including full synthetic oil. The paint job started with a light coating of bed liner covered with gloss black paint and then clear coated, the pictures do a poor job of showing the paint the sun makes it look odd in a few pictures, it will be durable and easy to clean and looks great in person. I added a 12 volt circuit and installed a radio/ cd/ dvd player, 2 pioneer 6 in speakers are mounted into a custom enclosure. This hmmwv has an excellent performing engine that has no problem starting inzero degreetemperatures. If you have never driven one of these you will be amazed at its off road capabilities.
