1988 M988 HMMWV Military Hummer

1988 Hummer M988 Description:

I have for sale this Humvee that is running strong and ready to go to work. The serial number is 046709 they never had VIN. We replaced the power control module with an updated one and new batteries. The drivetrain is in great shape, the exhaust is all good brakes are solid and steering is tight. Tires are 37/12.50/16.5 Goodyears about 90%. The windshields are good and the body is straight. The hood has a small crack beside the left hand lifting eye that is an easy fix since it is fiberglass. The soft doors are in the back and are green but can be painted tan. These are a pain to buy from the military, after you pay for them and fil out a lot of paperwork you wait 12 weeks (they have your money) to see if the government will even let you own one. This machine is currently OFF ROAD ONLY but I have filed and paid for the paperwork to make it possible to register and street drive. I have gone thru all the hassle so all you have to do is buy it and enjoy. I can assist with shipping and quotes. It is for sale locally so auction could end at any time.
