1991 Honda Civic Si Description:

1991 Honda Civic Si in immaculate condition. Car was originally a California car and brought to Wisconsin - never driven in winter or on salty roads. There is no rust to speak of anywhere on the car. Exterior is in incredible condition and the interior is about as like-new as a nearly 30 year old car can be which you can see from the pictures. Everything is stock except for the following aftermarket parts from what I've been able to see in my ownership: aftermarket Bluetooth headunit with I believe aftermarket speakers (thankfully no stupid subwoofer), aftermarket MOMO steering wheel and adapter (Not Quick release), aftermarket exhaust, keyless remote lock system with an alarm, Koni yellow shocks with lowered springs, and wheels from the next generation Civic from what I've gathered wrapped in Federal RSR tires. Pictures show the car and it's condition to the absolute best of my abilities.
Car was recently taken to an import specialist in my area and there are a few things you should note before purchasing. The wheel bearings should be replaced, bushings will likely need to be replaced which will further crisp up the handling feel, engine mounts are worn, there is a loose baffle in the exhaust system though the mechanic did state the exhaust is in excellent shape overall. Left turn signal blinks fast but we suspect that is because the aide marker light on that aide is very dim and may need to be replaced to help the whole system in that side. Power mirrors do not work though I haven't dug into the reason why as they're angled perfectly for me right now anyway. Right now the engine is high mileage. I'm unsure of its history and what has been done to it but everything is in working order currently. If I were keeping it longer I'd do the typical oil, filters, belts, and check all the gaskets. Of course, you may just want to get rid of the D Series engine in there anyway and upgrade to a higher performance B series instead. As it sits, though, it runs fine and starts up quickly every single time. Warms up well and absolutely no idle surging or anything of that nature.
Very rare car and very hard to find one this close to stock with all the boy racer mods out there that people tend to slap on these cars. When I bought it, the aftermarket exhaust almost turned me away, but it actually sounds quite good so I allowed it. I've taken good care of it and really like it, but there's 3 BMW's in my garage that demand more attention and that I tend to gravitate more toward anyway. I hope the car goes to a true Honda fan that will take good care of it and enjoy it.
Almost forgot - since I'll have no use for them, I have a set of JDM Integra rear train long arms with E Brake cables that I'll be including if you'd like to put a period-correct part on the car while also upgrading the rear brakes to disc brakes. The only difference is the Integra arms have an 86mm bushing as opposed to the Honda's 80mm bushing. It's a common swap and well documented. Also including Hayne's service manual, all paperwork I have, clean title, random parts in a box, original owner's manual and anything else I can find for it.
Buyer is responsible for pickup whether local or arranging shipping - I will not arrange shipping but can meet with your shipper if you give me advanced notice and we work out a good time/day. You may contact me with any additional questions about the car. The car is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
