1982 Honda Prelude for sale - An all original, perfect interior, good running and driving future classic with movie prop cred!
The head gasket and master cylinder have been replaced in June. The car needs a heater core, but is completely drivable otherwise. The car is currently registered and insured. I have the clean NY title.
This car was featured in the 2012 film "The Place Beyond the Pines" starring Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes. I have the production company's rental agreement.
The sunroof electric motor is broken. The car has a factory hand crank which makes the sunroof manually functional. The sunroof gasket appears as new and has no leaks.
The heater core broke last summer and the hoses have been tied off. The car is completely functional but has no heat or A/C. A replacement heater core is included with the car.
The first generation Prelude will prove highly valuable in the coming years. In the 90s, all the 50s cars were hot; after that the 60s muscle was desirable; Now there is some kind of forced nostalgia for 70s cars. the Prelude is one of the most elegant Japanese sports cars of the 1980s and its inclusion in this classic film will ensure its future collectible status.
