1985 GMC Jimmy K5 Sierra Classic 1500 like Chevy Blazer K5 Square Body

1985 GMC Jimmy Sierra Classic Description:

"Rare" 1985 GMC Jimmy w/ Sierra Classic Trim 4X4 with 128,000 original miles. This is an excellent rust free example of a K5 square Body. See Pictures. I purchase this Jimmy back in 2007 with hopes to use it as a back up daily driver to my Yukon XL. I never put it on the road. Its been parked here at the house under car cover and needs a new home to someone who can enjoy it. It runs and drives and I start it ever so often and wash it as needed. It has a 5.0 L 4bbl engine, automatic OD transmission, power windows, power door locks, A/C, cruise control, tilt wheel, Am-Fm stereo cassette, folding rear seat, electronic tail gate, Rally Wheels, 31 gal fuel tank and 3.73 rear. I added a factory GM tachometer and fuel gage kit to the instrument cluster but have not wired the tach into the distributor yet. The Jimmy has been sitting for many years so I suggest a detailed maintenance and fluid change be done before driving or putting on the road. The engine has a light tapping sound at idle once the engine gets warmed up to temperature and I don't know if its a lifter or rod bearing.The under carriage is in great shape and not rusted. The tires are in excellent shape with no cracks, but they are old from sitting. The exhaust system is in excellent condition too. The vehicle is being sold as is where is with no warranty.
